Geez, you'd think with my current occupation, I'd have time to be here posting blogs every day!!! Not so, unfortunately. I can hardly find time to groom myself, much less write a blog (something I really enjoy doing, too!). That's why I decided to just shave my head!! YEP, that's right!! I'm looking like a Shaolin Monk, sans the orange robe and beads... but you get the idea, right? Also, HieRan insisted that I play volleyball again on a regular basis (she's the best!!). I got in touch with some friends from a volleyball class I took last year, and it turns out they need another guy for their co-ed volleyball league - SCORE!!! So friday nights I drive into Westwood to play some ball (I didn't realize how much I missed playing until I got on the court and started pounding again!!). Oh, and for my Bay Area VB buds, you'll be proud to know that I crunched a ball in this guy's face when he tried to Y-Block me!! *hahahaha... oh, of course I felt bad about it later... >>snicker<<*
Things here have been the same, for the most part - just busier. It doesn't help that the days seem to be getting shorter too. My plate is generally pretty full. There's lots to do, and there's always something that needs to be done.
Oh, so I'm watching that new show HEROS on NBC... and I'm HOOKED!!! I have to also send a shout out to my kid brother, LD, for getting me hooked on SMALLVILLE too!! *grumbles* Yeah, he spend about 6 days down here with us visiting with dad, and we went through seasons 4 & 5 of Smallville when the DVDs came out. This is the same guy who was supposed to come and visit only for the weekend. As Monday came around, he decided he could do his work down here and stayed another night. I know that he wanted to spend time with dad, too... but then Tuesday came, then Wednesday, then Thursday. Honestly, I don't remember him changing his clothes much - and he didn't bring a bag or suitcase with him. Come to think of it, that shirt that he's wearing in the picture was WHITE when he came down!!! By the way Larry, showing your belly was cute when you were 2 or 3 years old... but at your age now... NO, definitely NOT cute! ;)
